Monday morning 21^st June marked the turning point at CIX when the first part-delivery of 40 new racks arrived.  These new racks from Schroff will form the second aisle of ‘Cold Aisle Containment’ in the CIX data centre. 

They will be core to the growth currently being experienced at CIX with businesses continuing to see the benefit of colocation and also wishing to build their ‘Private Cloud’ in a high availability site where CIX will be a site within their ‘cloud’. 

There has also been added interest now of businesses in Dublin wishing to use CIX as their DR site.  This dramatic turnaround has occurred since CIX announced their new resilient cost effective backhaul capabilities between Cork and Dublin.
