A lot of our power infrastructure arrived in CIX in the last couple of weeks.
As did our Medium Voltage (MV) Switchgear (picture below is one of the switches)

The MV Switchgear has been installed since I took this photo – I’ll try to get a decent photo of them in situ this coming week.
And finally, the ESB ran their 10kV cables through the ducting into our building. There are six cables because the power is three phase (so three cables) and it is a looped connection (so 2 x 3).

I didn’t realise that high voltage cables are generally aluminium. It has low resistance, like copper but it is significantly cheaper!
The MV switchgear and stepdown transformer are all rated for 20kV.
